‌Automobile brake pumps are mainly used in passenger cars and commercial vehicles. ‌

In the field of passenger cars, brake pumps usually use oil brake systems. When the driver steps on the brake pedal, the master brake pump transmits the pressure of the brake fluid to each brake cylinder, drives the piston and causes the brake shoe to contact the flange on the wheel, thereby achieving vehicle deceleration and parking. This oil brake system is widely used in passenger cars because of its simple structure and high reliability.

In commercial vehicles, especially heavy trucks, air brake systems are usually used. The air brake master pump uses compressed air to provide power, which can provide stronger braking performance and is suitable for complex working conditions and scenes requiring more forced power. In addition, modern cars generally use a dual-circuit brake system, which consists of two independent brake circuits, each circuit is responsible for a brake master pump to ensure that the reliability of the brake system can be maintained when a single circuit fails.
